Alex (Minecraft)

Alex is the primary and playable character in Minecraft together with their counterpart for men, Steve.
They were the main game character on Super Smash Bros on October 1st, 2020. And Minecraft Dungeons on May 26, 2020.

Background and Development

In the WIRED article published on April 28th of 2015, the article highlighted issue of the lack of representation within the diverse of the Minecraft playable. The Alex character Alex is a perfect feature to Minecraft by being a random-assigned character that comes with “thinner arms, redder hair, and a ponytail” According to Mojang. Alex was added to the version 1.8 on September 14, 2014. The summer of 2014 saw Alex was released for both consoles: Xbox as well as PlayStation, initially, and later on mobile phones, Pocket Edition.

Appearance

Alex is a beautiful persona sporting bright, orange locks that hangs to the left with pale white skin and eyes that are white with green pupils. She wears a light-green shirt (un-tucked to the right and a dark-green belt tucked around it) and a pair of brown pants and greyish boots. Alex seems to have pinkish lips , and has a smaller arm that Steve. Alex’s design is similar with the design of lead designer Jens Bergen ten. The design is often described as “the “slim” skin on various websites, including “The Skidded. “.
